Ronnie O’Sullivan was knocked out in the first round of the UK Championship to Zhou Yuelong

Ronnie O’Sullivan has been knocked out of the UK Championship in the first round following a 6-4 defeat to China’s Zhou Yuelong on Tuesday.

It was Yuelong’s first ever win over the eight-time champion, who withdrew from the British Open due to medical reasons in September.

The 2025 UK Championship runs from November 29 to December 7 at the York Barbican.
